Cheesy Chicken Tater Tot Casserole {Slow Cooker}

The weather is starting to get hot here. That coupled with my new part time job is making crock pot recipes look extra good. It just so happened that I had some tater tots in my freezer and I had some chicken breasts....humm...

Well if I added bacon and cheese that should make a winner, right? I found this recipe from The Country Cook and decided I had to give it a try.

Gather your ingredients.
Spray crock pot with nonstick cooking spray or grease with butter.

Pour half of Tater Tots in the crock pot. Add 1/3 of the cheese and 1/3 of the bacon.

Add cut up chicken and season with salt and pepper

Add another 1/3 of cheese and 1/3 of bacon

Add remaining half of tater tots and top with last 1/3 of cheese and bacon.

Add milk and cover

Cook on low 4-6 hours.

Serve and enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 (32 oz.) bag frozen tater tots
1 (3 oz.)bag bacon pieces (or about 12 slices crispy cooked and crumbled bacon)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup milk
salt & pepper, to taste

Directions:
Spray slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

Layer half of the frozen tater tots on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Sprinkle with 1/3 of the bacon pieces.
Now top with 1/3 of the shredded cheese.

Add diced chicken on top. Season with salt & pepper.

Now add 1/3 of the bacon pieces and another 1/3 of shredded cheese.
