These are one of my favorite healthy snacks. Baked Apple Chips are so easy to make and of course they are healthy too! Even the cinnamon is good for you!
You will need:
- Apples (your choice)
- cinnamon (about a teaspoon)
All you need to do is....
Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Wash and slice apples very thin, I used a mandolin slicer but this can also be done with a sharp knife. No need to peel or core. Remove seeds after slicing with small knife if needed. Most will just fall out.
Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
Bake for one hour, turn slices over and sprinkle again with cinnamon. Bake another hour and test for crispness. If not crispy, return to oven for another 30 minutes.
Let cool and enjoy.
